More affordable housing could be coming to San Luis Obispo. A proposed mixed-use development would include 702 apartments and townhouses, as well as, a micro brewery, coffee shop a deli and jogging trails. The project would be at the corner of Laurel Lane and Orcutt Road and would include about 56 homes set aside as very low-income housing. As it stands, the project is in the concept phase, so no public hearings are currently scheduled.
