Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s investigators say a Santa Maria man is behind bars for allegedly running an illegal cannabis delivery service. Officials say tips from the community helped lead them to 805 Cali Xtracts. They served search warrants at the homes on Del Sur and Riddering Street and at 805 Cali Styles in the Santa Maria Town Center Mall. Officials found several items connected to marijuana sales and cannabis consumables. They also found a couple of illegal firearms.
32-year-old Javier Covarrubias is now facing numerous drug and weapons charges including being a felon in possession of a firearm. The investigation is ongoing.
