The Heritage Ranch man accused of stabbing his pregnant girlfriend to death last month was in court yesterday. Daniel Raul Rodriguez Johnson is facing two counts of murder. 27-year-old Carrington Broussard and the couple’s unborn child died in the attack. Johnson was arrested after he crashed his vehicle with his two daughters inside. Authorities say he then stole the vehicle of a CHP officer who responded to the crash. Johnson has pleaded not guilty to the numerous charges against him. He’s facing the possibility of life in prison or the death penalty if convicted.
