A Templeton man was arrested Friday night at an Orcutt Jack in the Box. At about 10:15, Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Deputies observed a man who was apparently under the influence of a controlled substance. The deputies arrested 32-year-old Kyle Hogue for being under the influence in public. When they searched him, they found a meth pipe, a loaded 9 mm handgun with no serial number, a sawed-off shotgun with no serial number, a PR-24 police baton, roughly 100 rounds of 9 mm ammo and 6 round 12-gauge in his backpack. He’s currently in Santa Barbara County jail on suspicion of a numerous drug and weapons violations.
