An Atascadero man was arrested earlier this week after he allegedly attempted to burgle a Paso Robles home. Paso Robles Police say it started Wednesday morning at around 10:20. That’s when a woman called them to say a man had broken into her Park Street home. She apparently startled 35-year-old Joseph Godfrey and he fled. While Officers were on their way to the victim’s home, they noticed a man matching the suspect’s description running on the railroad tracks. He was booked on burglary and drug charges. Bail was set at 50,000 dollars.
