The San Luis Obispo County Public Defender’s Office is coming under fire. A man who spent about three months in solitary confinement at San Luis Obispo County Jail last year has filed a lawsuit. John Wyman claims his appointed attorney didn’t investigate his case before urging he plead to a felony. The suit also accuses San Luis Obispo Defenders, a private law firm that has a contract with the county of legal malpractice. His new attorney claims no one paid attention to her client or his case.
