CAL FIRE San Luis Obispo firefighters responded to a crash with major injuries over the weekend. It happened Saturday night at around 10:30 on Los Osos Valley Road west of Foothill Boulevard. Investigators say a 20-year-old Lompoc man was driving eastbound on Los Osos Valley Road when he drove his vehicle into the westbound lane. The crash sent Daniel Pooler and the other driver to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center with major injuries. Pooler was also arrested on suspicion of DUI.
