A vegetation fire in the Salinas Riverbed shut down the Northbound lanes of the 101 in Paso Robles yesterday. The fire broke out at about 2:30 near the Spring Street exit. By 2:45 the CHP was receiving calls about wrong-way drivers. The number 2 lane was shut down for a short time while crews battled the flame. Paso Robles City Fire officials reported that the blaze was fully contained by 3 p.m… No injuries were reported, The cause is currently under investigation.
