A Santa Maria man is recovering from a cliff jumping accident. Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s rescuers recovered a 22-year-old Santa Maria man from Red Rock. He was airlifted to Cottage Hospital after jumping off the 100-foot cliff into the water below. Rescuers say he suffered broken ribs and a punctured lung. Los Padres National Forest officials say there are warning signs posted in the area.
