Uber Slams Washington Post Report

Uber is slamming a new report about its handling of sexual assault complaints involving its drivers. The Washington Post is reporting the company’s current and past employees claim the ride sharing service is putting its interests ahead of riders. Uber says the reason for not reporting alleged crimes to police is to protect the alleged victims, saying if those victims want to go to police they can and Uber investigators will cooperate. Uber calls the Washington Post investigation inaccurate and the company says it’s made changes and invested in safety technology.
