Quick work by Firefighters helped stop the forward progress of a vegetation fire that broke out yesterday afternoon in California Valley. The fire was first reported at around 2:30 in an area near the Topaz Solar Farm. An attack on the flames from the ground and air had Forward progress was halted in a couple of hours. Fire officials say the fire was held at six-acres. What caused the fire is under investigation.
