According to a new apartment list report, Nearly 60 percent of all San Luis Obispo County renters struggle to keep a roof over their heads. 27% are severely cost-burdened and spend more than 50% of their paycheck on rent. According to the Tribune, the report has San Luis Obispo and Napa counties tied for 5th place for least-affordable areas in California to be a renter.
