Campers and off-roaders at the Oceano Dunes could soon have less room to roam. The San Luis Obispo County Air Pollution Control District says California State Parks was not meeting the requirements of an agreement it made in April 2018. At yesterday’s hearing, the Air Pollution Control Board announced 48 acres of the dunes are going to be closed for off-roading and camping by January of next year. The move takes away 50 percent of beachside camping at the dunes.
