An investigation is underway after a dog was found in rural Paso Robles with its eyes and mouth taped shut. San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s deputies were called out Monday night to Loma Lane at around 9. Not only was the dog’s muzzle and eyes duct-taped shut, there was also a dead bird attached to the duct tape. The black lab was taken to the Atascadero Pet Hospital for treatment, and the San Luis Obispo County Animal Services Center is investigating. Officials say the dog should be fine.
