Thousands of Cal Poly students have returned to campus for the new fall quarter that starts today. With some strict, new safety measures in place, school officials decided to allow a limited number of students back onto campus for the new academic year. Nearly 4,500 students will be living in on-campus housing this quarter. Cal Poly required all students living and participating in on-campus activities to provide a negative test result for COVID-19 before they arrived on campus. Face coverings in most settings are also required as well as strictly enforced physical distancing requirements.
