Lompoc School District Wants In-Person Classes

Lompoc Unified School District officials say they want to reopen schools for in-person learning in January. Officials believe they could reopen in either a hybrid or full in-person model if it is safe to do so. Santa Barbara County is currently in the state’s “red” reopening tier but needs to have lower transmission rates to allow schools to reopen. The idea will be discussed at tomorrow’s regularly scheduled Board meeting.
