Portions Of Los Padres National Forest Reopened

A large portion of the Los Padres National Forest has reopened, including San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties. The forest had been closed due to a heightened fire risk. According to the U.S. Forest Service, you now have access to roadways, campgrounds, and day-use areas in the forest’s Santa Barbara and Santa Lucia ranger districts, with some restrictions. All campfires are prohibited, as is smoking.
