Police took a Paso Robles man into custody over the weekend. According to their press release, a woman called to report her mother being held at knifepoint against her will and 40-year-old Charles Courtemanche threatening to kill her. The mother was able to escape. Her son was arrested Saturday morning on suspicion of elder abuse, assaulting his mother with a deadly weapon, and kidnapping.
