KZOZ93.3 Crew Details
Air Time Schedule: M- F 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm
A Southern California Native, Dusty Rhoads grew up listening to the best of what Los Angeles radio had to
offer…The Dr. Demento Show, Jim Ladd on KMET/KLOS, 100.3 Pirate Radio with Michael Scott Shannon in the
Morning and KIIS FM with Rick Dees. At age 13 he and his family moved to the Central Coast where he attended
Templeton High School. What seemed like everyone, he too listened to the Central Coast Heritage Rock station 93.3
KZOZ with names that haven’t been heard in a long time, Rich Kreeger, Mark Wilson, Rick Andrews, Jaz McKay
and Joe Alvino. While attending Cuesta College Dusty hosted a weekly reggae show on KGUR. Through KGUR he
started an internship at KNCR in Paso Robles. In 1998 he landed his first full time radio gig at KVEC as Production
Director. In 1999 it was time to make the move to KZOZ where he produced the Jaz McKay show until it moved to
KKAL in 2001. In 2004 Dusty returned to the KZOZ airwaves to host the mid-day shift and longtime running
KZOZ Lunchtime Rewind. In Early Fall of 2006 he moved to afternoon drive. In Spring 2007 he was offered the
Program Director position at KZOZ. Catch Dusty Rhoads weekdays 2-7pm, rockin' you on the job and your ride
home with KZOZ's "LIVE@5" and "Get The Led Out!"
He is thoroughly enjoying the afternoon shift and is thrilled to be a part of the 93.3 KZOZ team!
