In case you might have missed it the Cal Poly Mens Basketball team is on pace to go undefeated this season. Okay, Okay, so they’ve only played one game… But it was a win against Coach Callero’s former team Seattle U.

 Thursday night the Mustangs tip off their Mott Gym season opener against Cal State Monterey.

You are probably familiar with the story about the Nipomo Youth Football “Cowboys” who have only lost one game this season. Despite all the success all these kids have accomplished this season they have had to forfeit all their games due to a technical glitch.

 Coach Porterfield joined us this morning in studio and broke down what happened and what this all means to the kids.

A Benefit BBQ will be held in the Miner’s parking lot in Nipomo on Friday from 10am to 5pm in which the proceeds will go to send the team to Las Vegas to play in the Pigskin Tournament put on by the National Youth Football League. And the BBQ is delivering orders to offices between Santa Maria and Nipomo for free with a minimum 5 sandwich/plate order.
