Here’s our convo on the F word as used in “Money For Nothing.”

Yes, you guessed  it, Dire Straits is being banned from radio stations until they censor their song Money for Nothing. The offending lyrics “the little fa&&ot…” were written in irony quoting a redneck in an electronics store.  However, gay and lesbian groups in Canada have complained in recent years that it is offensive.  What do you think? Should they have to get rid of the more modern F word??

Jeremy’s solution: just sub in the word “Sagget.” Makes sense to me, but I think that might even be more offensive!

These are the offending hardcore rockers!

Here’s what J&J had to say about the robbery.

Some people are pretty disgusting.  According to a story by WCCO, the local CBS affiliate in Minnesota, a 270 pound woman attempted to steal a $6,500 mink coat by lifting up her belly fat and sticking it into her underwear! Store employees were alerted when they noticed Simona Storchak acting suspiciously and sweating profusely, although after  looking at this lady I think it would be more suspicious if she WASN’T sweating. After getting caught by the 5-0, she eventually lifted up her shirt and showed that she had modified her underwear and shoved the coat down there. The fur company, understandably, isn’t too sure if they want the coat back.

It’s hard to believe that when she’s not starring in Precious she’s out on the streets stealing furs.
