On Monday, a surf shop in Laguna Beach held a sale for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Now in itself, while I don’t think it’s the way to celebrate the holiday, I don’t think this type of sale is a problem. However, the shop got a little crazy with this one. They photoshopped a picture of King Jr.’s face onto the body of a white surfer and offered 20% off all black products. What do you think- is this offensive? Here’s the story as reported by New York Daily News.
A homeless man in Goleta opened fire with a BB gun on some people who refused to give him change this weekend. He also wound up shooting a couple guys eating ice cream and TWO COPS! The police officers, obviously, fired back at him with some guns that were a little more powerful than the BB gun. The guy is now at the hospital where he should soon be handed over to the Santa Barbara county jail. Here’s the story as reported by the Santa Barbara Independent.

So yesterday Jeremy was commenting on a tie that Jeff wore to a wedding in November. He brought up the glitteriness of it, saying it looked like Reynolds Wrap was taking over a black skinny tie. Jeff got a little defensive and, though he admitted getting the tie at Forever 21, said it wasn’t so bad. Now we need your help in rating his tie on our patented gay-o-meter. If you’ve got some strong opinions, leave them in the comments or on the Jeff and Jeremy Facebook page.
