beer. Researchers found the consumption of non-alcoholic weissbier — wheat beer — has a positive effect on athletes’ health. Groups of marathoners and triathletes drank up to 1.5
liters — more than six glasses of beer — of the stuff each day and suffered
less inflammation, a stronger immune system and fewer respiratory infections
after the races.
