Change Coming To Five-Cities Drinking Water

Five-Cities residents may notice a change in the taste of their drinking water. On Wednesday, the San Luis Obispo County Department of Public Works plans to switch the drinking water disinfectant to free chlorine. The switch helps ensure water mains remain free of potentially harmful bacteria. Some residents may notice an odor similar to a swimming pool. You can contact your local water supplier with any questions or concerns.
