With the weekend just around the corner, Santa Maria Residents can celebrate the return of Downtown Fridays. Families and community members are invited to enjoy live music, local food vendors and a number of new attractions. The Downtown Friday events kick off every Friday through summer at 5:30 and run until 8:30. It’s held at the Town Center West parking lot near Broadway and Cook Street. Officials say there will be more local entertainment, a large kids zone, more lighting, and more food booths. Admission and parking are free.
