Fix On The Way For Busy Arroyo Grande Intersection

After nearly 20 years of debate, residents of Arroyo Grande may finally have a fix to a traffic-plagued intersection. The City council has approved a plan they think will fix the problems at Highway 101 on- and off-ramps at Brisco Road. They plan to overhaul the entire area. Closing the Brisco ramps, build new ones a couple hundred feet away at Rodeo Drive and Branch Street, add a new bridge and install the city’s first traffic roundabout. Cost of the project is estimated at 19.6 million dollars. Construction should begin in 2022.
