Police detectives were called out to a Santa Maria middle school yesterday afternoon after someone made threats of school violence. It happened at around 1 p.m. at Tommy Kunst Jr. High School. Police say a detective made contact with the 13-year-old who allegedly made the threats and his parents. Officials say there was no immediate danger to students or staff. The case has been forwarded to the juvenile probation department for review.
