Parking Fines On The Rise In San Luis Obispo

Parking fines in San Luis Obispo are doubling. The city is trying to combat cars, trailers, and RVs being parked on the roadside for extended periods of time. Officials say after a vehicle has been parked in the same spot for three days, the owner will get a warning. 72 hours after that, they can expect a ticket. According to KSBY, the fines use to cost 33 dollars but now the ticket price has increased to 75 dollars.
