Paso 6th Grader CPR Skills Take Her To Nationals

A Paso Robles 6th grader is headed to a national competition showcasing her CPR Skills. According to KSBY, Skylar Collins learned CPR while taking part in babysitting camps. She says she was also motivated because she’s an older sister. Her demonstration of CPR won her a gold medal at a state competition of SkillsUSA. Now she’s getting ready for the nationals that take place next month. Flamson Middle School officials say Skylar’s success has sparked other students’ interest. Now, the school will be launching a Skills USA chapter in the near future.
