Program Helps Low Income People Eat Healthier

A program designed to help low-income families eat healthier foods is now available at select San Luis Obispo County farmers markets. The Market Match program allows CalFresh EBT cardholders the opportunity to swipe their cards and get an additional 10 to 15 dollars to spend on local produce. There are currently five markets in San Luis Obispo County that are participating in this initiative. Los Osos, Paso Robles, Atascadero, San Luis Obispo, and Templeton. You can find out if you qualify for the program by going to Get CalFresh dot Org.
