A report of a reckless driver turned into a drug bust in Grover Beach this week. It happened late Tuesday afternoon when Grover Beach officers received a report of a driver swerving through traffic on Grand Avenue. Police found located the vehicle. During the traffic stop, they found prescription medication and narcotics packaged for sale, which allegedly included more than 1,800 Xanax pills, 10 grams of methamphetamine, and more than $600 in cash. The 25-year-old driver is facing numerous drug charges.
