With coronavirus precautions canceling traditional holiday events, Christmas in the Country will light up the holiday season for kids of all ages. It’s a Christmas parade with a twist. Christmas in The Country is happening at the Santa Maria Elks/Unocal Event Center Wednesdays through Sundays each week through Jan. 3. According to Newshawk, visitors drive through two miles of lighted displays to help families get into the spirit of the season.
