Sales Of Ammunition Down

Gun shop owners in San Luis obispo County are reporting a drop in ammunition sales following a new law that went into effect last month. According to a report by the State Attorney General’s Office, some of those lost sales included prospective customers who had felony records. Accord to KSBY, Attorney General Xavier Becerra said, 100 felons had been prevented from buying ammunition. But The report from his office also points out that 11,000 people who had no legal reason not to buy ammunition were also prevented from making purchases.
