Security Concerns Prompt New Measures

Heightened political tension and growing online harassment have led a couple of local cities to take steps to keep staff safer. San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay have both approved funding that could help protect against possible attacks, or harassment against council members and staff. According to the Tribune, one plan includes bullet-proof materials at key locations. Other cities in the county are also considering similar measures.
