A large group of supporters for law enforcement and D.A. Dan Dow gathered in front of the San Luis Obispo County Courthouse yesterday. The demonstration followed a press conference and rally earlier this week urging Dow to drop eight charges against protest organizer Tianna Arata. Police say Arata is responsible for leading a protest march on July 21 that blocked Highway 101. The D.A.’s Office says a decision on whether to charge Arata will likely come before her first court appearance next week.
