Vaccination Pace Picking Up In S.B. County

Santa Barbara County is picking up the pace of getting teachers and school staff vaccinated for COVID-19. Santa Barbara County Education Office officials say they expect to have all staff serving students in transitional kindergarten  through twelfth grade scheduled for a “first-dose appointment by the end of the month. The vaccine is expected to add an extra layer of protection for teachers. Beginning Monday, several thousand vaccine appointments are expected to open at Lompoc Valley and Marian Medical Centers.
