Paul and Ruben Flores made a court appearance yesterday to set a preliminary hearing date. Paul Flores is charged with first-degree murder in the disappearance and death of Kristin Smart. Ruben Flores has been charged with accessory after the fact. Both have pleaded not guilty to the charges against them. The preliminary is scheduled to start on July 6th. Prosecutors believe it will take 12 days fr both sides to present their cases. The judge will decide if there is enough evidence to move forward.
