Public Safety Power Shutoff Possible For Parts Of Santa Barbara County

Warm temps and high winds expected in Santa Barbara County has Southern California Edison considering a Public Safety Power Shutoff for more than 5,000 customers. A PSPS is issued when elevated weather conditions have the likelihood of sparking vegetation or other items to be blown into power lines. There are no current outages, but officials say that could change.
