San Luis Obispo City Employee On Leave

A San Luis Obispo City employee involved in a three-year-old assault case has been placed on administrative leave. The city is conducting a confidential personnel investigation into the off-duty attack on a Lompoc woman and her male friend. Christopher Matthew Olcott was placed on leave after video surfaced showing him throw an elbow to the woman’s face, then punching her friend several times. Olcott was sentenced last month to three years of unsupervised probation and three months of alcohol counseling.
