Kurt Olson is a California native who started his full time radio career in Pismo Beach in 1980, He came to the Central Coast in 1979 and attended Cuesta College and received an AA degree in Broadcast Communications.
He went back to San Diego in the mid 80’s and worked at his hometown radio station in Vista Ca. until it was sold in 1986 and then returned to the central coast to call it home for good, where he has worked full time in radio ever since, he has held a full time air shift on 8 different central coast radio stations and has produced commercials for radio and tv since the late 80’s.
He and his wife Vickie Finn(who also worked in central coast radio for many years), own a home in the 5 Cities and live with their chihuahua, JuJu Bee. Kurt also has his own Mobile D J service and can be heard doing parties and weddings on the central coast. He is an avid music fan and also loves anything to do with politics. Kurt’s other interests include live music & concerts, and enjoying an evening walk on the sand in Pismo Beach. He is 16 year veteran of American General Media
