A ribbon-cutting ceremony helped usher in several new Electric Vehicle charging stations in Downtown San Luis Obispo. The new charging stations are part of the city’s effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. San Luis Obispo has partnered with PG&E’s EV Charge Network program to install 7,500 electric vehicle chargers throughout PG&E’s service territory. A grant from PG&E covered the installation of the electrical system at the Marsh Street parking structure. The project is one a several charging stations to be installed throughout San Luis Obispo.
