A narcotics investigation by the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office has taken drugs and another gun off the streets of Santa Maria. Yesterday morning, deputies served a search warrant on West Morrison Avenue. investigators found roughly five pounds of methamphetamine, four ounces of cocaine, three ounces of tar heroin, and a stolen handgun. Suspected gang member Filogencio Mendoza Diaz was taken into custody. He’s currently being held on no-bail probation.
