A San Miguel man is in jail after police say he robbed a Grover Beach sex shop and tried to run over an employee with his motorcycle. According to the Grover Beach Police press release, it started Tuesday night when 30-year-old Joseph Hyde stole a 50 dollar adult toy that was consistent with the male anatomy. A store clerk tried to stop him but Hyde used force to escape, then tried to run over the employee with his motorcycle. he was later located in Atascadero. He was taken into custody without incident and booked into county jail. Bail was set at 60,000 dollars.
