Arroyo Grande Police say a suspect involved in a stabbing incident is behind bars. Investigators say it started Friday night on Lancaster Drive. That’s where police believe 36-year-old Matthew Ehens stabbed an elderly man in the shoulder. He fled the scene but was found Saturday morning. He was taken into custody after leading police on a pursuit into rural Arroyo Grande. Ehens was booked on suspicion of attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon and elder abuse. The investigation is ongoing.
