Cal Trans officials have closed a Northern San Luis Obispo County bridge after determining it was unsafe for travel. Inspectors determined that the southern bridge of twin bridges at Huerhuero Creek on River Road in Paso Robles had “potential structural deficiencies”. The bridge will be closed indefinitely. According to a press release, River Road is also closed 1.5 miles south of Wellsona Road until further notice. The rest of the road will be open to local traffic only.
