Two people are in the hospital this morning following a shooting incident on W Williams Street in Santa Maria late last night. Police responded to a report of shots fired at around 10:30. When officers arrived they found two victims with gunshot wounds. They were transported to an area hospital for treatment. Investigators believe the shooting was sparked during an argument between a juvenile and an adult. The adult allegedly shot the juvenile then himself. The investigation is ongoing.
