It’s going to be a bit easier to get around town. Crews in Santa Maria have spent the last few months working on the Betteravia and Highway 101 interchange. The 900,000 dollar project is finally finished and city officials plan to celebrate with a ceremony later today. The project was designed to help reduce congestion and delays in the Enos Ranch area. Roughly 40,000 cars use the intersection daily, making it one of the busiest in Santa Maria.
