Settlement Costs Southern California Edison Hundreds Of Millions

Southern California Edison has agreed to pay hundreds of millions of dollars for damages caused by wildfires in 2017 and 2018. according to KSBY, several agencies in Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties will split 150 million dollars for costs related to the 2017 Thomas Fire. Ventura and L.A. County agencies and cities will divvy-up 210 million dollars for last year’s Woolsey Fire. The settlement will not affect the large number of lawsuit filed private citizens.
