The Santa Barbara County Grand Jury is looking at ways to deal with the county’s youth gang problem. A recent report included seven findings and eight recommendations. One of the recommendations called for Shared information between law enforcement agencies that could prevent gang activities in one community from having repercussions in another. The report also pointed out how budget cuts within police departments affecting gang units.
