A Cal Poly student died in a skateboarding accident this week. First-year industrial engineering student Noah DeVico passed away Tuesday morning. Officials say he lost control and fell off a motorized skateboard on Grand Avenue Monday afternoon. No other vehicle was involved. San Luis Obispo police assisted Cal Poly with the investigation into the accident. Counseling services are currently available to students and staff.
